Role Overview
Food and Beverage Team Member (Temporary) – Moorlands Lodge Care Home, Hindhead. Pay: £12.75 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
- Help residents choose their meal options at the time of dining.
- Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well‑presented front of house; remove and replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
- Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruit are accessible and replenished in the bistro areas throughout the day.
- Be aware of and accommodate residents’ dietary requirements.
Requirements
- High standards of personal hygiene.
- Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
- Experience working in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel, is desirable.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- DBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
