Head Chef

Overview

As a Head Chef at HC‑One, you will inspire a kitchen team to deliver high‑quality, nutritious meals that our Residents genuinely enjoy. Your focus will be on supporting each resident’s health and wellbeing while ensuring efficient kitchen operations and compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to produce high‑quality meals.
  • Ensure every dish meets dietary needs, cultural preferences, and nutritional requirements.
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, overseeing stock, budgets, and orders.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP.
  • Collaborate with central teams to uphold nutritional excellence.
  • Create ambient dining experiences that enhance residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 2/3 NVQ in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
  • Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Good understanding of HACCP.
