This role will be fundamental to the delivery and running of a high quality and effective Lung Cancer service which will identify asymptomatic people, providing early diagnosis of both lung cancer and other lung diseases.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Run virtual and face-to-face nurse-led clinics.
  • Assess patient risk and refer high‑risk individuals for Low‑Dose CT.
  • Deliver high‑quality respiratory assessments and offer smoking cessation support as part of the screening pathway.
  • Provide effective health promotion and tailored patient education.
  • Recognise and elevate safeguarding concerns, red‑flag symptoms or emergencies.
  • Maintain required accreditations (IRMER on induction; ARTP for spirometry where needed).
  • Work as part of a 7‑day service, including bank holidays, following a standard 12‑hour shift pattern while supporting early diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence with willingness to work across mobile sites.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident using a range of IT systems and software.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and further training.
