As an Advanced Practitioner Mammographer, you will work as an autonomous practitioner within symptomatic breast services, undertaking a wide range of clinical responsibilities including:
- Advanced interpretation and reporting of mammograms 2D and 3D tomosynthesis mammograms
- Breast and axilla ultrasound assessment
- Delivery of interventional procedures, including:
- Aspiration
- Biopsy (Ultrasound guided and stereotactic biopsy + Clip marker and Magseed placement)
- Participation in weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
- Significant involvement in direct patient care, particularly within onestop clinics and followup pathways
