Theatre Practitioner (Bank) - Wessex Hospital - Anaesthetic & Recovery

Ad hoc - Part Time. Up to Β£26.00 per hour depending on experience. The role is based in Wessex Hospital, West Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring.
  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
  • Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.

Requirements

  • You are registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
  • You have post-registration experience and are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
  • You will be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.

About the Hospital

Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46-bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women's Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a 24-hour resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
