This post is based at the Homerton University Hospital site in Hackney, however the post holder will be expected to work across the various sites of Homerton Healthcare and at other external locations as required. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, and pro-active individual to join the Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Team, part of the IT and Systems Department. The post holder will be responsible for shaping and delivering a wide range of complex and strategic digital initiatives that will drive forward technology enabled service change in Homerton Healthcare. The post holder will also play a key part in the Project Management Office (PMO) and in shaping and embedding the digital portfolio at Homerton Healthcare, and for promoting the digital agenda across City and Hackney as a place. Successful delivery of these projects and programmes will mean significant cultural change for many staff. The post-holder will therefore have comprehensive knowledge and experience of the delivery of healthcare in acute and community service settings, and will be expected to provide support to the Trust in the development of transformation plans and the identification of risks and issues associated with process or workflow changes. The post holder should have significant experience of working in or with NHS services, and ideally will have experience of supporting the implementation of a range of change or transformation programmes in healthcare settings. A summary of key duties or responsibilities is as follows: - Responsible for project and programme delivery within agreed timescales and budget.- Chairing of project or programme meetings and workshops involving both senior management and front line staff and coordinating varying levels of stakeholders in the development and delivery of designated projects or programmes.- Working with the patients and the public at planned events in support of the co-production approach across City and Hackney place.- Working collaboratively with external technology system suppliers and securing commitment for innovative development.- Working closely with the communications team to develop effective communication plans for the overall programme and individual project areas.- Nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks internally and externally including NEL and more widely across London., The full job description provides an overview of the key tasks and responsibilities of the role, and the person specification outlines the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge required.
