The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.

Responsibilities Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.

Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.

Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living while ensuring privacy, dignity, and human rights.

Perform additional tasks as required by the team.

Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant in a hospital environment or a mental health care home (accompanied by qualifications when having 6–12 months experience, which is a practical sign‑off).

Studying as a Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.

Studying toward a Mental Health Nursing degree.

Evidence of completing a Care Certificate or a relevant qualification, such as: Care Certificate from an NHS organisation.

QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011.
