About the Role The Plastic Surgery department works across multiple sites, providing outpatient clinics and inpatient/day‑case treatment at Darlington Memorial Hospital, University Hospital of North Durham (UHND), Bishop Auckland Hospital, Shotley Bridge Hospital, Sedgefield Community Hospital and Chester‑Le‑Street Hospital.
The post is based at UHND with clinics and theatres at Darlington Memorial Hospital and Bishop Auckland in addition to UHND.
Responsibilities Deliver a comprehensive Plastic Surgery Service and reconstructive services to the people of South Durham, Bishop Auckland and Darlington.
Provide clinical care of patients in charge and ensure effective department functioning.
