Consultant Physician – Diabetes/Endocrine and General Medicine Croydon University Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and self‑motivated consultant physician to join our team in Diabetes/Endocrine and General Medicine.

Key Responsibilities Organise and manage day‑to‑day services in a busy teaching hospital.

Demonstrate leadership capability within multi‑disciplinary teams.

Apply principles of clinical governance and quality improvement.

Lead and complete medical audit projects.

Collaborate effectively with clinical, paramedical and non‑clinical staff.

Maintain clinical governance related standards and develop service improvements.

Key Qualifications and Experience MBBS or equivalent.

Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or equivalent.

Higher degree (MD, Ph D or equivalent).

Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register on the date of appointment through: Certificate of completion of training (CCT) – proposed CCT date within 6months of interview.

Portfolio pathway (formerly CESR).

Relevant European specialist qualification (REQ) or Recognised Specialist Qualification (RSQ).

Fully trained in Diabetes, Endocrinology and general (internal) medicine.

Satisfactory completion of a higher specialist training programme in Diabetes
