We are looking to appoint Non-Training Fixed Term Trust Grade Doctor to fill a vacancy within Inpatient CAMHS at Parkview Clinic, Moseley. Birmingham., Contributing to the assessment, formulation and development of treatment plans for youngpeople with mental health problems admitted to Parkview. Being involved in the assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric aspects of children and youngpeoples' presentation and in delivering psychiatric treatment where appropriate within overallmanagement packages. Attending weekly MDT meetings. Attending CPA meetings. Contributing to liaison and communication with families and other involved agencies. Contributing to referrals as appropriate.
- MBBS or equivalent
- At least one year in psychiatry, with experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- A minimum of 2 years full time post graduate training (its equivalent gained on a part time basis) or equivalent experience and competencies
- Full GMC registration
- At least 2 years clinical experience in Foundation Training programme or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of working in the NHS.
- Ability to participate teaching departmental teaching programme and clinical governance activities, Knowledge of wider health debate and NHS Structures, and current media issues.
- Intermediate Life Support training (ALS/APLS/ATLS)
- Other related post graduate qualification
- Completed full foundation training.
- Demonstrate participation in audit and research
- Demonstrate ability of understanding of the principles of service improvement.
