The role will support the delivery of partnership working across the programme, acting as a key point of contact for Trade Union representatives and wider stakeholders. Working closely with the Partnerships Lead, to:
- Support the planning and delivery of partnership engagement activities with Trade Union representatives and workforce stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, consultations and communications.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, helping to promote collaboration, timely information sharing and effective programme engagement.
- Provide high-quality project and administrative support to the Partnerships function, including maintaining stakeholder records, preparing briefing materials, tracking actions and monitoring engagement activities.

The Partnership Officer will play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of the Transforming People Services (TPS) programme by coordinating engagement and partnership activities with Trade Unions and key workforce stakeholders across the NHS.
Working as part of one of the NHS's largest and most complex HR transformation programmes, the postholder will help ensure effective communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement to support the successful implementation of programme objectives. The role will support the delivery of partnership working across the programme, acting as a key point of contact for Trade Union representatives and wider stakeholders.

The role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in partnership working, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery while supporting meaningful change across the NHS.
Experience of partnership working, employee relations or workforce engagement within complex NHS, healthcare or public sector organisations. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working with recognised Trade Unions. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working effectively with senior leaders, executives and programme boards.
Experience of HR and OD and People Services within the NHS. Ability to develop and maintain effective partnership working relationships with a range of Trade Unions and key stakeholders. Clear communicator with excellent written and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately to a diverse and varied range of audiences consisting of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to provide and receive, convey and present highly complex, sensitive and/or contentious information to large groups, responding openly to questions to ensure full understanding and engagement. Demonstrable experience managing programme risks, issues, dependencies and to ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.
