The post is suitable for a person who wishes to improve their trauma and orthopaedic knowledge and skills, participate in teaching, both undergraduate and post graduate, and develop their research interests. This post will be under the supervision of a named consultant, who will act as the educational supervisor. The successful candidate will become part of the department, which has 24 consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeons based across the Trust. The successful candidate will play an active role in the day to day provision of orthopaedic care to our patients. They will also be expected to participate and develop the teaching and research output of the department.
- Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
- MBBS or equivalent
- MRCS, Previous experience of T&O at registrar level
- Currently in NHS post, Good team player, Demonstrated high level of leadership, organisational and communication skills with patients and colleagues
- Undertaken clinical audit
