Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical lead in a Podiatry team, delivering evidence‑based comprehensive assessment, review and treatment for moderate and high‑risk diabetic foot patients.
- Provide high‑quality, timely, and accessible services in accordance with local care pathways, codes of practice, professional standards, and clinical quality guidelines.
- Offer specialist and complex podiatry care for acute and chronic foot pathologies within community clinic and domiciliary settings.
- Use assessment, diagnostic and communication skills to develop and implement personalised programmes of care.
Qualifications
- Valid HCPC registration.
- Evidence of postgraduate training to masters level, advanced clinical practice, or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge of NICE clinical guidelines relating to diabetic foot problems.
