The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will help deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred care by undertaking the day‑to‑day clinical duties and responsibilities of a Salaried GP within the practice.

This includes routine and urgent consultations, telephone and online appointments, home visits where required, review and signing of repeat prescriptions, managing clinical correspondence and queries, and contributing to the ongoing delivery and development of high‑quality primary care services.

The post‑holder will work autonomously while contributing to the wider practice team and will participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and practice development activities.

Responsibilities also include the timely management of patient‑related correspondence, referrals, results, clinical administration, and associated paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Providing face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations
  • Assessing and managing acute and long‑term conditions
  • Undertaking home visits where clinically appropriate
  • Reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions
  • Reviewing and actioning clinical correspondence, test results, and other workflow items
  • Developing personalised care plans and supporting health promotion and disease prevention
  • Referring patients to secondary care and community services where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical records

Qualifications

  • Qualified GP with MRCGP
  • Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
  • General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
  • Full GMC Registration
  • National Performers List registration
  • Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
