About the role

Bank Cook at Grevill House in a care home, preparing nutritious meals, meeting dietary needs, and creating themed events to enhance residents’ dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual residents’ needs.
  • Create enjoyable dining experiences, including themed food days.
  • Plan daily menus and support overall kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
  • Make a positive difference through food and care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs (desirable).
  • Availability for a flexible bank role and a zero‑hour contract.
