The predicted salary is between 75600 - 92400 Β£ per year.
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver outstanding clinical care to patients referred to the hospital, ensuring they receive compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help provide holistic, person-centred care that supports recovery, wellbeing, and positive long-term outcomes.
You will take clinical responsibility for a defined patient caseload, leading key aspects of care delivery, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessments and reviews, strategic care planning, and the development of a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.
As part of your responsibilities, you will also fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983, providing clinical leadership and ensuring the highest standards of care, governance, and legal compliance.
Applicants must hold MRCPsych (or an equivalent qualification), a CCT (or equivalent) and be included on the GMC Specialist Register, along with Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
Candidates should also have evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
