Catering Assistant Band 2

We're recruiting enthusiastic, flexible team members to work across our busy cafs and restaurants. No two days are the same -- you'll be part of a fast-paced, friendly team delivering great service to patients, visitors, and staff. We have two full time (37.5hours) post and one 22.5 hour post. The hours will vary from 7am starts to 8pm finishes over a 7 day period and a typical shift will be 7.5 hours. Details of this will be discussed at interview. We offer good enhanced rates of pay for weekend and bank holiday working.

• Serving customers with a smile and delivering excellent service
• Making barista style drinks (full training provided)
• Preparing and serving food
• Keeping areas stocked, clean, and welcoming
• Supporting all areas of our retail catering team

• Someone with excellent personal hygiene and attention to detail
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
• Barista training (desirable - training can be provided)
• Some understanding of HACCP and COSHH (advantageous but not required)
• oGood communication skills

• oAble to operate machinery after training
• oCapable of working without direct supervision
• oKnowledge of Health & Safety, manual handling, COSHH
• oAwareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
