An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) Clinical Auditor to join the Stroke team on a permanent part-time basis. The post holder will be responsible for the collection and entry of identified stroke patient care data for the SSNAP clinical audit database. This will involve interpreting information from patients’ medical records, electronic data and patient management systems and liaising with a number of professionals to obtain and record accurate clinical audit information. The SSNAP clinical auditor will also provide data support for Stroke services.
The post holder must liaise with appropriate members of the stroke multidisciplinary team to ensure audit information is complete. The post holder will support the project manager and the Directorate management team in providing this data for key monthly data submissions and performance reports so that Cardiff and Vale University Health Board’s stroke service performance is accurately represented. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
