This represents an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated dietitian to develop advanced skills, knowledge, and experience within a highly specialised service, contributing to high-quality, patient‑centred care within a tertiary paediatric nephrology setting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the dietetic lead for the tertiary paediatric nephrology service based at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales. They will autonomously manage a complex inpatient and outpatient caseload of patients within the paediatric nephrology service. This will include children with acute and chronic renal failure including those with end stage renal failure requiring renal replacement therapies such as dialysis and transplant, with dietary therapy integral to the patient treatment plan. Dietetic management is integral to the overall treatment plan for this patient group and specialist renal dietitians are a core of the multi‑disciplinary team. Comprehensive training and supervision will be provided to the post holder. This is a 0.6 WTE position with the potential for additional hours. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
