The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Provide first line support across all platforms for CAV UHB and national IT systems. Provide and receive complex and/or sensitive information on a range of IM&T matters and systems. Provide implementation support when new system updates are made. Working autonomously as part of the Implementation Team, the post holder will provide high level system, project and administrative support to more senior staff by assisting in the implementation and support of a range of clinical and patient management systems. The post holder will be required to give support to the Implementation Manager in day to day support and configuration in a range of internal and national systems. They will also be required to assist in project planning and implementation of new functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Implementation Team, acting as the first point of contact for many staff and providing support, training and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures and ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied to progress and deliver implementations.
  • Support Digital support functions and optimise efficiency for a wide range of local and national systems.
  • Provide training and support on a range of systems, processes and Welsh Government rules, including handling highly complicated and/or sensitive information.
  • Support the Implementation Team Manager and key stakeholders during the go-live phase of major systems implementation.
  • Identify weaknesses or additional/specific needs and provide further support and assistance to users as required.
  • Assist Project Management Office in completing Business Analysis for new project requests, including meetings with requesters and key stakeholders to prepare a comprehensive project brief for delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in IT support and implementation within a healthcare or similar environment is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels and to train and guide users on system functionality.
  • Proactive and autonomous working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
