This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the UHB's consent agenda. The role will involve working within the MCA Team in Safeguarding to undertake the role of Consent Lead. You will be well supported by the MCA Team and will have an opportunity to build your existing skills around consent and mental capacity. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Consent Lead to join the Mental Capacity Team within Safeguarding.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicants will help to support the consent agenda across Cardiff and Vale UHB by providing staff with expert support, information, training and guidance on issues relating to consent. The role requires collaborative working and the development of effective multi-disciplinary and multi-agency relationships with partner agencies. The successful applicants will play an essential role in ensuring that the UHB meets its statutory obligations.
QualificationsWhilst training and professional support will be available, applicants require an in-depth knowledge and understanding of consent with experience of working within a complex health or social care organisation.
Language RequirementsThe ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
