Role Description
The Band 6 Retail Development Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Cardiff, responsible for overseeing and developing retail services within the Health Board’s estate.
Day‑to‑day activities include managing retail operations, analyzing performance data, and identifying opportunities to improve service quality, profitability, and user experience.
The role involves working with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan and implement new retail initiatives, optimize product ranges, and ensure compliance with NHS policies and relevant regulations.
The Retail Development Manager will monitor budgets, support contract management, and contribute to business cases and reports.
This role also includes supervising and supporting retail staff, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring that retail services align with patient, visitor, and staff needs.
