An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cardiff and Vale University R&D for a 12‑month fixed‑term Trial Administrator to support research delivery across the University Health Board. The role is a band 4 position and requires a flexible team player with a keen interest in research. The post holder will coordinate, collect and document accurate data and contribute to the administration of studies within the Research Team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the co‑ordination of a portfolio of clinical trials across various disease sites.
  • Provide administrative and data‑management support for all aspects of trial organisation as an integrated member of the network team.
  • Contribute to the efficient set‑up and delivery of research within the UHB, supporting performance metrics set for the UHB.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Band 4 trial administrator with experience or demonstrable interest in research.
  • Ability to work flexibly to support the service and contribute to study administration.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills; accurate data handling.
  • Welsh speaking desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome.
  • Non‑UK or Republic of Ireland nationals require sponsorship to obtain a Health and Care or Skilled Worker visa and must self‑assess eligibility for a Certificate of Sponsorship.
