Responsibilities

  • Possess excellent IT and audio‑typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner.
  • Work positively and proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes/notes, circulate documentation, identify actions, log them, prioritise, and follow up.
  • Plan and organise training, appointments and events, including coordinating travel arrangements and guest speakers.
  • Undertake diary management for yourself and others.
  • Communicate effectively via email, implementing a flagging/prioritisation system.
  • Create and format professional communications such as letters, leaflets, presentations, reports and briefings to a high standard.
  • Order goods or services, monitor progress of orders, check receipt of goods or services to ensure invoices can be reconciled.
  • Deal with complaints, use own initiative to solve problems and escalates where necessary.
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the multi‑disciplinary team within the community setting.
