Responsibilities
- Develop and apply assessment practices for health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information to patients.
- Maintain and improve working environments to enhance health, safety, and security.
- Improve quality of services and promote equality, diversity, and patients’ rights.
- Lead others in developing knowledge, ideas, and work practices.
- Apply technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment of patients.
Qualifications
- Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Post‑Graduate Diploma in a specialist programme.
- Post‑registration continuing professional development evidence.
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Competence in use of relevant equipment and medical devices.
- Training in MS Office and other relevant software.
Experience
- Specialist experience in female pelvic health (men’s pelvic health desirable).
- Application of clinical reasoning skills to complex and varied caseloads.
- Experience working in partnership with consultants and participating in innovative service development.
- Willingness to work flexible patterns including evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
Skills & Competencies
- Management and leadership skills within physiotherapy.
- Knowledge of infection control, health and safety, and mandatory training.
- Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and dignity at work.
- Clinical awareness of developments in the speciality.

- Possession of a DBS certificate.
