Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality patient care under the direction of the named Consultant.
- Diagnose, treat and manage acute and complex medical conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations, request appropriate investigations.
- Support Consultant‑led decisions and ensure smooth continuity of care.
- Participate in ward rounds, assess new admissions, review discharges.
- Provide immediate medical support in emergencies, including leading cardiac arrest calls.
- Play an active role in pre‑ and post‑operative care, clinical assessments and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
- GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK.
- Intensive Care Medicine training, ST3+ (Critical Care and Anaesthesia).
- Experience working in a Level3 Critical Care Adult Unit.
- Passion for teamwork, patient‑focused care and commitment to share best practice and provide a first‑class patient experience.
