Role Overview
Bank Chef (casual 0hrs contract) – deliver hotel/restaurant standards without split shifts and long weeks in a hospital home setting. Work with the Head Chef to create nutritious, flavoursome, well‑balanced menus and tailor meals for residents.

Responsibilities
- Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Prepare fresh produce and cook high‑quality, wholesome dishes.
- Create a warm, efficient and fun kitchen environment.
- Work within budget and manage stock control.
- Complete regular audits.
- Assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team.
Qualifications
- Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
- Experience in leading and inspiring a team.
- Good understanding of nutrition.
- Experience working with fresh seasonal food.
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment.
- Good understanding of HACCP.
