Overview

The role is for a Board Governance & Off‑Payroll Compliance Manager at Integrated Care 24 (IC24), a leading not‑for‑profit social enterprise.

The position reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer and includes acting as Company Secretary, managing board and committee support, leading governance improvement, and overseeing off‑payroll compliance.

It is a part‑time, four‑day per week role with an annual salary of £48,000 FTE (£38,400 actual salary for the required hours).

Responsibilities

  • Act as Company Secretary and support board and committee meetings.
  • Advise on governance best practice and board effectiveness.
  • Manage board and committee development and induction programmes.
  • Lead governance improvement initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of off‑payroll working compliance.
  • Support risk, assurance and audit readiness.
  • Produce high‑quality governance reports and board papers.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
