Role Details
Position: Academy Physiologist – Nuffield Health.
Permanent, full‑time (40 hours per week) with a salary up to £28,100 per annum.
Based in Tunbridge Wells, but mobile within the region of the base site.
Responsibilities
- Join a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete the in‑house three‑week training course and subsequent award‑winning preceptorship program.
- Deliver health assessments that support clients’ health and wellbeing goals.
- Promote health and fitness as part of a holistic health service.
- Support prevention, rehabilitation and recovery initiatives.
- Provide caring, client‑focused service, putting patients’ needs first.
- Attend a mandatory training camp scheduled for September 2026.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:2 in Sport and Exercise Science or an equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.
- Ability to apply scientific principles in practical settings.
