We’re hiring: Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
We’re looking for experienced Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join our Facilities Maintenance Technical Team, supporting operations across Cardiff Airport and St Athan.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll undertake planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs, installation works and support facilities and infrastructure projects. You’ll work across a diverse range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our facilities safe, reliable and operating effectively.
For the role, you’ll bring experience of electrical installations, fault finding and repair, with knowledge of systems such as LV distribution, lighting, generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting and access control.
You’ll need relevant technical qualifications, strong practical problem-solving skills and a safety-focused approach. Previous airport experience is not essential. Experience within an airport, aviation or similarly regulated operational environment would be beneficial.
The role involves shift working, participation in an on‑call rota and occasional overtime to support operational requirements.
If you’re an experienced technician looking for a varied role in a unique operational environment, we’d love to hear from you.
