We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Hotel Reservationist to join our Reservations team. You’ll provide exceptional customer service while managing guest bookings and creating outstanding first impressions that reflect the high standards of Carden Park Hotel.
Your day with Team Carden:
- Handle guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems
- Provide accurate information on room types, rates, packages, and hotel amenities including the spa
- Process bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate guest records in the reservation system
- Coordinate with Reception and sales teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals
- Upsell room upgrades and hotel services where appropriate
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
About You:
- Previous experience in hotel reservations, front desk, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Professional telephone manner and customer-focused attitude
Due to the rural location of Carden Park, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport methods.

You will be required to be efficient, confident with computer skills and an excellent telephone manner whilst taking the guest’s hotel booking. You will have confidence talking with our guests and selling everything that is wonderful about Carden Park Hotel. You will be part of a remarkable team in a busy environment and team work is essential. If you have previous hotel reservation experience that would be preferred, however we know there are many transferable skills people have to offer and would support with your development into the role.
