We are looking for an experienced IT support technician to join our dynamic team in Brighton. The role involves responding to phone calls and ticket requests for installations and maintenance across our growing client base, while also contributing to IT projects across the organisation.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Friendly and responsive telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems under pressure, prioritising effectively
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good first‑time fix rate
- Minimum of two years’ experience resolving I.T related problems in a similar role
- Self‑learning ability – Microsoft qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided
Required Experience
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop and Server 2019 and newer)
- Office 365 (licensing, setup, migration)
- VMware ESXi/up vCenter Server
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- VPNs, routers and firewalls
- Networking – WAN, LAN, security, SSL, IP routing, switching
- Antivirus platforms such as Trend Micro
- Backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication, Datto)
