Barker Ross is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a leading national logistics operation based in Lutterworth (LE17). Whether you're looking for full-time hours, weekend work or ad hoc shifts, we have opportunities to suit you.

With immediate starts, ongoing work, and premium weekend rates, this is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with a well-established client.

  • Excellent Pay Rates (inc. advanced holiday)
  • Monday to Friday: £19.38 per hour
  • Saturday: £22.44 per hour
  • Sunday: £24.48 per hour

Long-Term Shift Patterns Available:

  • Friday to Tuesday - Start time 00:30
  • 4 On / 4 Off - Start time 03:00
  • Thursday to Monday - Start time 11:00
  • Thursday to Saturday - Start time 22:00
  • Weekend Drivers - Saturday & Sunday
  • Ad Hoc Drivers

Please note: Operational requirements may mean start times can vary by up to 1-2 hours, so flexibility is essential.

The Role:

  • UK-wide deliveries and collections
  • RDC trunking and store deliveries
  • Driving modern articulated Class 1 vehicles
  • One delivery and one collection on most routes
  • Some routes require no handball, using an electric pallet truck
  • Other routes involve unloading food products, reloading cages and trolleys

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • No DR10 or IN10 endorsements
  • No more than 6 penalty points

All successful drivers will complete a written assessment and a practical driving assessment before their first shift.
