What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and supporting irrigation engineering projects from initial brief through to completion
- Assisting with system design, equipment selection, installation and commissioning
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Working on pumps, motors, valves, sensors, control panels, pipework and associated equipment
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals
- Supporting site-based installations, servicing and technical problem-solving where required
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Identifying practical improvements to system performance, reliability and efficiency
- Keeping accurate records of work completed, parts used and project progress

Skills and Experience Required
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge

- Experience with pumps, motors, control panels, sensors, valves, automation or machinery
- Ability to fault-find and solve technical issues
- Confident reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams or manuals
- Practical, organised and able to manage work through to completion
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Experience in irrigation, agriculture, water systems, manufacturing, machinery or process equipment would be highly advantageous
- Full UK driving licence preferred
