The Senior Financial Crime Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the Financial Crime function by owning key business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
The role ensures the Financial Crime Framework remains up to date, regulatory obligations are met, and routine compliance activities are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain Financial Crime policies, procedures and standards.
- Coordinate and deliver mandatory Financial Crime training across the business.
- Ensure all scheduled BAU activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist with implementing required updates.
- Maintain Financial Crime governance documentation and evidence.
- Support regulatory requests, audits and skilled person reviews.
- Prepare MI and management reporting where required.
- Maintain compliance registers, logs and action trackers.
- Work closely with first-line teams to ensure Financial Crime processes remain effective.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen the Financial Crime Framework.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and "right first time."
- 1–3 years' experience within AML/Financial Crime.
- Experience within a fintech or payments firm.
- Good understanding of UK Money Laundering Regulations.
