Are you ready to lead the delivery of transformative technology across a dynamic retail estate? We’re looking for a technical Store Technology Project Lead to drive the successful rollout of in-store systems that power our operations—from POS and stock management to replenishment and beyond. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a portfolio of mission-critical initiatives, ensuring that technology is deployed, integrated, and fully operational across our stores. You’ll balance delivery pace with risk management, budget control, and vendor performance—while maintaining a sharp focus on stakeholder satisfaction and seamless operational adoption. Reporting into the Head of Store Technology, you’ll hold significant decision-making authority across delivery planning, quality assurance, and cross-functional coordination. What You’ll Be Getting Up To:

  • You’ll lead the delivery of store technology projects—like POS, payments, and replenishment—making sure they’re on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
  • From defining clear requirements to coordinating training and pilot rollouts, you’ll ensure stores are ready for change.
  • You’ll manage vendors, oversee change approvals, and keep deployments smooth and disruption-free.
  • With a sharp eye on risks and strong stakeholder engagement, you’ll help drive seamless tech adoption across our retail estate.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record delivering complex IT projects across multi-site or retail environments.
  • Strong expertise in store technologies including POS, stock management, and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Skilled in full project lifecycle management, including budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experienced in vendor management, change planning, and ensuring smooth business readiness and service transition.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent, with formal project management certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or PMI preferred.
