Based: Our beautifully refurbished Studio in Wakefield! (J41) • Hybrid working: Approx. 2 days onsite, 3 at home + free parking

Product: Wide ranging to include gift, gift bags, product and packaging, gift bags, wrap, party items, and greeting cards.

We’re looking for a passionate and versatile Senior Designer to join our creative team! In this role, you’ll produce designs across a wide range of products including gift product and packaging, gift bags, wrap, party items, and greeting cards. As a role model within the Studio, you’ll inspire creativity and innovation while mentoring and sharing skills with others.

You’ll work from briefs and initiate your own projects, bringing fresh ideas and a strong creative eye for surface pattern, typography, colour, prints, and illustration. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different styles and challenges. You’ll be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and confident in driving new product development and pushing creative boundaries.

What You’ll Do

• Research trends and generate ideas for future collections.
• Lead new product development projects from start to finish.
• Create commercially strong designs and style guides for all kinds of gift products—packaging, bags, wrap, party items, and cards.
• Rework existing artwork into finished products, preparing files for print.
• Communicate clearly with the team and external partners.
• Mentor and share knowledge within the studio.

What You’ll Need

• Experience in gifting, gift bags, wrap, party, greeting card design preferred.
• Enthusiasm for creativity and design.
• Versatile design skillset.
• Strong typesetting skills.
• Knowledge of print limitations and experience with finishes.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• High level of 3D technical knowledge for product and packaging templates and setup.
