About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Moller Finishing Operator (Roll wrap) to join our card manufacturing site, Printcraft, in Baildon. Printcraftmanufactures the groups UK greetings cards, wrap and POS for cardfactory stores. It is a forward-thinking business with the state of the art equipment operating a large site 24/7, we produce around ¼ billion items per annum.
This role is available on a rotating 3 shift pattern as follows:
- 1 week of 5.50am to 1.30pm
- 1 week of 1.20pm to 9.00pm
- 1 week of 8.50pm to 6.00am
What you’ll do:
In this role, you will operate Moller finishing equipment on a multiple shift basis. Utilising all technology on the equipment you will ensure maximum efficiency and quality is produced at all times. Responsibilities include supervising machine assistants to ensure excellent team working at all times within the department. An excellent understanding of reel finishing is essential to operate successfully in this role.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent understanding of reel-to-reel finishing
- Utilise and understand all the technologies for reel finishing
- Practical and problem-solving qualities
- Prepared to work shifts, unsociable hours and annualised hours when required
- Ensure maximum efficiency and machine output at all times
- Excellent team working skills and a good attitude
- To be able to communicate at all levels
- Good Level and high standards of house – keeping and Health & Safety within the department
