We’re on the lookout for a Learning & Performance Specialist to elevate our learning experience at Card Factory – someone who brings creativity, curiosity and clarity to how our colleagues learn, grow and perform.
You’ll design engaging, performance‑led content to shape behaviour change, and help keep our learning offer slick, intuitive and widely used. If you love creating modern learning that changes how people work, this role gives you the space to make a real impact.
This role sits within our Leadership and Performance team where you’ll be working alongside a Leadership and Performance Specialist whose primary focus is facilitation and delivery; the perfect complement to your skills. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in our Wakefield Support Centre and the rest of the week remote from home.
What you’ll do
- Create high‑quality learning content — including microlearning, videos, self‑development resources and blended journeys — with a strong design eye and a focus on performance.
- Maintain and continuously improve our LMS and digital learning ecosystem, ensuring dashboards, journeys and user experiences are clean, intuitive and engaging.
- Use data, insight and business priorities to shape targeted learning interventions that strengthen capability and drive behaviour change.
- Build toolkits, guides and resources that empower colleagues and managers to own their development through simple, self‑service learning.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Subject Matter Experts to understand needs and create relevant solutions that support performance, change and growth.
- Create learning that is inclusive, accessible and reflective of our culture, fostering environments where everyone feels safe, supported and able to learn confidently.
- Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions with confidence (or the willingness to grow these skills) to bring content to life when live delivery is the best solution.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring a solid Learning and Development foundation (Level 3+ or equivalent experience) with a passion for digital learning and creative content design. You’re confident with LMS platforms (e.g. Learning Pool), tools like Rise, and using data to shape fresh, high‑impact learning. The main thing is your willingness to collaborate, communicate and stay curious – our team is small but mighty, so a ‘get it done’ mindset will be key!
