It is a forward-thinking business with state-of-the-art equipment operating a large site 24/7, producing around ¼ billion items per annum. The business is in an exciting phase of growth and investment to cement our success for the next number of years. It is a great time to join the company while we operate lithographic print and finishing equipment to supply high quality, volume products.
Main Responsibilities- Operators are multi-skilled to operate different machines and must be able to emboss and die cut.
- Operators need to have a practical approach and be confident at problem solving.
- Excellent team working skills with a good attitude.
- To be able to communicate at all levels.
- Good level and high standards of house-keeping and Health & Safety within the department.
- Excellent knowledge of greeting card finishing.
- Excellent practical and technical skills.
- Experience of operating large machinery.
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines.
- Manual handling.
We are looking for a committed individual to operate various large sheet-finishing machines to include embossing and die cut machines to their optimum. This role is working on a continental shift pattern working 3 weeks out of 4. An excellent understanding of large sheet finishing of greeting cards along with a good eye for detail is advantageous.
