As part of our digital transformation journey, we are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our new ERP platform and are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant / Systems Analyst to join our IT Transformation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major business transformation programme, working closely with our implementation partners and colleagues across the business to ensure the successful delivery and ongoing support of our new ERP system.

The Role

As our Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant / Systems Analyst, you will support the implementation, configuration and ongoing management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across the Carclo Group. Working with business stakeholders and implementation partners, you will help ensure business processes are accurately reflected within the system, support data migration and testing activities, deliver user training and provide ongoing support following go live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of legacy data, ensuring it is cleansed, accurate and fully validated prior to go live.
  • Support the ERP project team in mapping data from legacy systems into the new Business Central structure.
  • Configure Business Central and develop reports that meet agreed business requirements.
  • Create test scripts within Azure DevOps and support User Acceptance Testing to ensure the solution meets documented requirements.
  • Work closely with business super users to transfer knowledge and provide post implementation support.
  • Prepare and support the delivery of user training materials to ensure colleagues are confident using the new system.
  • Support go live activities, including data loading and technical transition activities.
  • Provide ongoing support to Business Central users, helping to resolve issues and ensure smooth day to day operations.
  • Assist with the ongoing administration and management of the Business Central environment.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support as required.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

About You

Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and experience supporting ERP implementations from design through to deployment and beyond.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across the business and is able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ideally including Purchasing, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Finance and Sales.
  • Experience of ERP implementation projects and business process analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to agreed deadlines.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related certifications would be advantageous.
  • Experience of wider Microsoft technologies, including the Dynamics 365 platform, Power BI, Power Platform, ForNAV and Azure cloud technologies, would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
  • A proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on delivering excellent support to colleagues.
