Your Role: As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring our customers receive their cars in perfect condition. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI\’s) on new cars and inspections/maintenance on used cars . You will ensure the PDI\’s are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. The used cars will be of any franchise and the maintenance will vary from a simple oil and filter change to diagnostic work. You will be responsible for working to group guidelines and maintaining a consistent level of standard across the used vehicles we sell. Multiple franchise experience and an MOT license is preferred for this role.
You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- MOT license preferred but not essential
- Multi Franchise experience desirable but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
If your application is successful, we will need to complete employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, we may conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
