Major Food Group is hiring an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our team at Carbone London, located inside the Chancery Rosewood Hotel. The Senior Chef de Partie will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard, and supporting the smooth operation of service.
Responsibilities include:
- Running a designated section - grill, larder, pasta or sauce
- Setting up and stocking stations
- Preparing and cooking food for service
- Leading private and large-scale events
- Supporting the Chef de Cuisine
- Supervising and training junior chefs and commis
- Maintaining stock and hygiene standards
- Ensuring food is served simultaneously, to a high standard and on time.
Requirements Include:
- Previous CDP/Senior CDP experience
- Strong kitchen operations, food safety and culinary knowledge
- 3 years' high-volume/fine dining experience preferred
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude
