Major Food Group is hiring Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at Carbone London, located inside the Chancery Rosewood Hotel. The Demi Chef de Partie will support the Chef de Partie in managing a section of the kitchen and contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-standard dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes
- Run a kitchen section in the CDP’s absence, maintaining food quality and timing
- Ensure proper stock rotation, labelling, and storage of ingredients
- Keep your section clean, organised, and in line with food safety standards (HACCP)
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Help train and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
- Communicate effectively with the team and maintain a smooth flow of service
