Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Winder to work for a leading Facilities Management company based in Leeds.
ROLE: Winder
PAY RATE: Band 2 - £31,842.45/annum - £15.70 / hour
Band 3 - £35,020/annum - £17.27/hour
JOB TYPE: 12 weeks temp to Perm
LOCATION: Leeds, LS10
HOURS: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm
THE ROLE:
Testing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.
Correct use of burnout techniques.
Detailing of AC/DC motor windings Rewinding of same.
Connection and Testing of Windings.
Impregnation and Stoving methods.
Use of specialist tools Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop.
The role will involve working standard day shifts with the opportunity to work overtime and to work on site with customers on some occasion
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
UK full driving license required
You will have a formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment with experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would be considered.
You will be confident in carrying out fitting task as well as winding.
