Our Client is building one of the leading Infrastructure projects in Europe, and the complexity makes it really interesting.

Role Overview

This role is a Technical Assurance Manager , and its purpose is to ensure the correct and consistent application of the technical assurance processes across one or more Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and/or groups of contracts. This includes supporting the application and review of the technical assurance regime, setting processes, and reporting on compliance from a delivery perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Authoring and reviewing technical documentation.
  2. Delivery of educational briefings/presentations.
  3. Competent in digital data and information analysis and trend reporting.
  4. Quantitatively and qualitatively assess the performance of delivery organisations against objective requirements.
  5. Knowledge of problem solving and integration using systems engineering thinking within the infrastructural sector.
  6. Knowledge of the principles of change and configuration management.
  7. Understanding of the roles and responsibilities under CDM Regulations 2015, and knowledge of the European Common Safety Methods guidance.
  8. Experience working within an NEC3 contract environment.
  9. Knowledge of the principles of quality management, e.g., ISO 9001.
  10. Experience managing and implementing quality and assurance principles, systems, and frameworks on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  11. Experience within a technical background with experience liaising with contractors and designers.
  12. Experience in multi-discipline programmes including civils, M&E, architecture, rail systems, and rolling stock.

Skills Required

This role requires considerable negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills, along with the ability to analyze data and develop matrices to create compelling cases.

Additional Information

This is an excellent long-term role with great benefits and career progression. The role is client-side managing contractors who self-assure themselves, ensuring compliance.

This role is based either from London or Birmingham, 2 days a week.
