About the Role – We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst who will support the development and implementation of the supply chain risk monitoring and management, and systems and reporting activities across all stages of the procurement lifecycle. The role involves working with suppliers and colleagues within the Supply Chain Management function to maintain and enhance our approach to measuring supplier capacity utilisation and financial health across 2000+ critical suppliers and assist with implementing appropriate mitigations, in collaboration with the supply chain.
Responsibilities –
- Lead the maintenance of sources of supply chain data and tools, including daily monitoring of key indicators, and analyse, interpret and present data insights, utilising Microsoft Access, Power BI and Power Apps.
- Lead the timely and accurate production of supply chain reporting to update key stakeholder groups, in accordance with SCM programme governance.
- Assist with the development of the SCM database and migration to a new platform (e.g. Microsoft Dataverse).
- Work with Supply Chain Managers to engage with appointed Joint Venture Contractors in identifying supply chain risks and opportunities and develop suitable mitigation plans.
- Attend external facing engagement events.
- Develop supply chain models and maps to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks in the marketplace.
- Provide support to the wider supplier management and Procurement & Supply Chain functions where cross-working is needed, including: Corporate Procurement, Contract Management, Construction Procurement and Railway Systems teams.
