Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) ready to take on a high-impact role in the offshore wind sector? We’re looking for a skilled professional to ensure electrical safety and deliver critical isolations and safety documentation under client Electrical Safety Rules.
What You’ll Do
- Act as SAP, reporting to the Lead SAP, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with HV safety rules.
- Produce and review switching schedules.
- Carry out isolations, earthing, and issue safety documents.
- Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
- Provide personal supervision when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Previous offshore windfarm experience and 66kV authorisation.
- Full GWO certifications: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore medical certificate (including Chester Step) + HUET.
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Current SAP authorisation to 66kV or above (will also consider 33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience).
