Senior Scaffold Design Engineer
The location is flexible across the UK.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for scaffold design engineering services for all offshore and onshore sites.
- Consultation with clients and site teams to discuss, resolve and design major structural scaffold design requirements.
- Design drawings, provide technical guidance, calculations and detailing of structural scaffolds.
- Regular site surveys onshore and offshore installations with follow up reporting.
- Promotion of the scaffold design service and scaffold innovations to the wider Bilfinger group.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous role in Scaffold Design or Temporary works
- BEng (or above) in Structural/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient user of AutoCAD software
- Understanding of structural mechanics
- 3D CAD modelling experience (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of structural analysis software (Desirable)
