Role: Offshore 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

Duration: 6 Months + Likely Extension
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DS, Financial Probity, Employment History), Medical Questionnaire & Right to Work in the UK
We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join an offshore wind project, working under client electrical safety rules to provide safety from the system by carrying out isolations, earthing, and issuing safety documentation. Offshore windfarm and 66kV experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP duties, ensuring safe systems of work under HV safety rules.
- Produce and review switching schedules, isolations, and safety documentation.
- Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, audits, and incident reporting.
- Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
- Provide supervision where required and assist the Lead SAP.
Requirements:
- Current Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation to 66kV or above.
- Previous offshore windfarm experience at 66kV level.
- Full GWO certificates: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore Medical (including Chester Step) & Offshore HUET.
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
